Grooming Product Development. From razors to a full category.

Dollar Shave Club product lines

DSC's original cross category grooming product offering.

Employee #8. Four new categories. 24 unique SKUs. One billion-dollar exit.

Joined Dollar Shave Club as employee #8 and became a key player in product development across the company's original five core grooming categories: blades, bathroom wipes (Charlie's), shave (Dr. Carver's), clean (The Wanderer), and style (Boogie's). Owned multiple work-streams shepherding products from inception to shelf, including product “romance” copy and GTM plans, and leading product creation, testing, and the operational backend that made scale possible.

Also helped shape the brand's go-to-market, media, and influencer marketing muscles: part of the creative team behind DSC's first Super Bowl commercial, our sports sponsorship of NFL centers (Clean Snap), and helped stand up Mel Industries, DSC's media innovation department. That combined work helped scale the subscription business to 19M+ subscribers, culminating in a $1B acquisition by Unilever.
